Minister Todd E. Thompson, also known as Neophyte, is a devoted husband, father, youth pastor, recording artist, and music producer, but above all, he is a worshipper. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was immersed in gospel music from a young age through his family’s choir, The McIver Memorial Choir. Inspired by both gospel and hip-hop, he embraced his faith at 20 and began fusing the two genres to create a unique sound. As a co-founder of Praimantis Records, he contributed to albums like Manuscripts of A Servant and N.O.L. – Newness Of Life, while also collaborating on projects such as The Standard and The Thunderground. His artistry led him to perform at major events, including the We Feed The Homeless Philly fundraiser, where he shared the stage with renowned artists. In 2019, he released his debut album, The Perfect Imperfection, further showcasing his talents as a writer and producer.

Beyond music, Minister Thompson is committed to ministry and youth empowerment. He answered the call to preach in his early 30s, speaking at conferences and serving in various ministries, including his roles as Youth Pastor and overseer of Children's Church. His future endeavors include launching P.U.S.H. basketball camps, which will teach both sports and life skills, and hosting The Chop Shop, an internet radio show focused on faith, family, music, and sports. Through his work, he strives to inspire and guide young people toward a deeper relationship with Christ, living by the scriptures 1 Timothy 4:12 and 2 Timothy 4:5, which call for faith, endurance, and leading by example.
